fter graduating from Hobbs High School and Texas Tech University, Mark Justice moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, to attend veterinary school at Colorado State University. Upon graduation in 1999, Dr. Mark moved to Levelland, Texas, and worked in a mixed animal practice as an Associate Veterinarian for a year and a half.
In June 2001, Dr. Mark made the decision to start his own business. He started a 100% mobile practice. Dr. Mark traveled a 300-mile radius serving his clients' needs.
While driving the country roads of Texas and New Mexico, Dr. Mark and wife, Angela, began planning their future. Dr. Mark, a Hobbs native, saw a need for a mixed animal practice in his home town.
Dr. Mark and Angela opened Double J Animal Hospital in the spring of 2009.
Growing up in Garfield, New Mexico, Dr. Rachel always had a special love for animals. After graduating from New Mexico State University, she attended veterinary school at Colorado State University, graduating in 2010.
Dr. Rachel has enjoyed working in New Mexico primarily as a small animal veterinarian, but truly enjoys the mixed animal practice that Double J Animal Hospital offers. Dr. Rachel joined the Double J team in May 2014.
